Friends of Home Health
|
The Friends of
Home Health were formed in 1967 as an auxiliary to Columbia
Montour Home Health Services/Visiting Nurses Association.
The Friends plan and carry out projects which benefit
our clients such as making sandbags to be used as weights
for physical therapy exercises. They also help with a
multitude of office-related tasks like filing, shredding
documents, and mass mailings. |

In
addition, the Friends have raised money to purchase much-needed
equipment which enables our staff to work more effectively.
Recent examples of those purchases were an overhead projector,
label maker, and a laminating machine.

Being a Friend of Home Health gives people the opportunity
to learn new skills, develop friendships, and contribute
to the community in a very meaningful way. If you would
like to become involved, please call Sandra Hare at 570-784-1723.
